Petunia - Petunia is a very cute little pug girl who is about 7 or 8 years old. She is a perfect little pug with perfect house manners. She gets along with all dogs and all people. She is a nice combination of playful and calm. She is house trained and only barks when you dont make her food quite fast enough. She would love to be somebody's cuddle buddy and sleep in a bed with them. She will make a great little companion dog. She has that very special little puggy snore too!! She will be ready for adoption after her spay and dental. She came to rescue with a very large wound on her chest which has healed nicely. She is sorting her designer purple bandage wrap in this picture. Her adoption fee is $150. Please fill out an adoption application.
Felix - Our sweet honorary kitty, Felix the Cat, was roaming a farm where one of our volunteers farm sits. After months of roaming the farm and being just a flash of white, the 2 ladies were able to catch Felix so we could get him to the vet . He will soon have a surgery to remove his infected ears, and will begin his recovery with our volunteer. Felix is actually a sweet, loving cat who was somebodies pet at one time. A microchip was found but led to a dead end. It did tell us Felix is 12 years old. He is affectionate and loves attention and cuddling. We would love to find him a good home once he is recovered.
Phoebe - Phoebe is a very special little 5 year old Shih Tzu. She is super friendly and super happy. She gets along with all people and all dogs and is house-trained!! She is spayed and UTD on all vaccinations. She is playful and snuggly and loves attention. Phoebe was diagnosed with some mild rear leg ataxia, most likely due to some kind of injury. She does not need wheels, at least right now, and gets around just fine, but sometimes has pull herself on slicker surfaces. She loves to literally run around the yard but needs to be watched that she does not scrape her feet when she is too active. She has such a sweet and happy demeanor that watching her play is a joy. She does need a little help up one or two stairs and needs to be carried if there are more.
Please fill out an adoption application and inquire about Phoebe to learn more.
Susie Q - Susie Q is a little Chihuahua, about 8 years old. She was recently spayed and had a dental. She has cataracts that limit her vision. She does fine with other dogs once she gets to know them. We would love to find Susie Q a female owner who can be very patient with her and let her take her time to come to trust them. She came from an abusive situation so it takes her a little time to warm up, but when she does, she is a happy little wiggle girl who gives lots of kisses. This little girl does not like men, and cannot be around children. It is going to take that very special lady who knows how to help a little dog who has been traumatized. If you think this is you, and are up for the challenge, we know you are out there somewhere!! Please inquire about her and fill out an adoption application.
These wonderful dogs are available for adoption. If you are interested, simply contact us and we'll begin the process.
Gladys - just arrived a few days ago and is settling in to her foster home. Foster mom says she is doing so well. She is sweet and friendly. She was even very friendly on her first vet visit, and greeted everyone very nicely. She has some skin issues to clear up, and she needs to get a little healthier before we can spay her. Stay tuned for more information from Gladys's foster mom as they get to know her. We think she will be ready for adoption in about a month.
