Josie (Mamacita) -Little Josie is a tiny 9.5 lb. black Chihuahua with a sweet, gray face.  She is about 10 years old and was recently spayed and had a dental.  She can see and hear quite well with those big ears.  She is perfectly house trained and is a very quiet little girl.  What she loves the most is to be on somebodies lap.  She would love a quiet home without small children where she can be near her human most of the time.  She would be an ideal companion for a senior.   She Seems to like men and women, as well as getting along fine with other dogs.  Her overall health is very good as well.
Please fill out an application for this cute little lady at www.grayfaceacres.org if you would like to know more about her and meet her..

Meet Daisy the Dachshund!   This absolutely adorable girl is reportedly about 12 years young.  She's really quite spry!  She has no problem at all with steps, jumping onto the couch,  pouncing up and down excitedly when it's mealtime, and she loves going on walks!  Daisy came from the Manassas City shelter.  Although she was reported as an owner surrender, she had vet records with her from the past few years and had been getting regular exams and vaccines.  So, while it's unclear as to the circumstances that led to her surrender, the important focus now is on finding her a new and loving home for the rest of her years.  Daisy is a bit hesitant with new people, but she's very friendly and she warms up once she feels safe.  She has attached quickly to her foster momma and follows her everywhere she goes around the house.  If foster momma goes out, Daisy's little face is waiting in the window when she returns, and she greets her with a welcoming, happy round of barking.   Daisy is microchipped, spayed, and she just had a dental cleaning with one extraction.  She has good house manners and is mainly housebroken.  She's had only a couple of "whoopsie's" in her new foster home, but that may just be due to being in new surroundings and learning new routines.  She's only been in foster for a handful of days, so we're still getting acquainted with her.  She gets along well with the two other dogs in her foster home as well as being friendly with any dogs encountered while out on walks.   Daisy will make some lucky person a very wonderful pet.  She'd probably like best to be in a home with someone who either works from home, or isn't away long hours.  She seems afraid of sudden movements, so she may not be suited for a home with young children. She also seems to enjoy the company of having other pets in the house.  If you would like to learn more about Daisy, or wish to inquire about adopting her, please contact Debbie at Gray Face Acres!
